The Cloverleaf Farm will be hiring temporary farm crew members to help us in our orchard to thin fruit and work the harvest season.  If it’s a good fit for you and us, we thin the trees in the spring starting in April, and harvest throughout the summer (late May-Sept). Harvest is the busiest part of our year and involves picking, sorting, packing, and delivering stone fruit. We also will need assistance at our farmers market stand in Sacramento on Sundays, and at a few U-picks at the farm in July and August. The delivery route includes Sacramento and the Bay Area. Experience in farming, especially orchard work, is great but not a necessity. We want to hire folks who are reliable and hardworking, excited about learning stone fruit tree production, comfortable going up and down an 8 foot orchard ladder, and accustomed to physical work outdoors in a farm setting.

The Cloverleaf Farm is a fun and lively farm with a 4-acre organic stone fruit orchard of nectarines, peaches, plums, figs, and apricots. We will be a crew of 3-5, and you will also sometimes help with other miscellaneous tasks. You’ll need a car to get to work at the farm off I-80 near Dixon. Pay begins at minimum wage with a potential for a higher hourly wage depending on experience and ability to manage others. The work weeks will be about 30-40 hours a week. However there is flexibility if you are only available on a part-time basis. Email your resume and a short cover letter with an explanation of your interest in the job and your employment related goals for this position to: thecloverleaffarm@gmail.com

We can contact you to meet for a farm tour and interview. Feel free to also call me at (530)902-8831 for further details. Tree Kilpatrick. Farm Manager. Co-Owner.
