Our small-batch elderberry syrup has a fruity and wild taste. We use blue American elderberries (Sambucus canadensis) rather than the black European elderberries (Sambucus nigra) more commonly found in commercial elderberry products. American elderberries are native to the region, so they are better adapted to the climate. They are also sweeter than European elderberries, giving our syrup a mellower bite than what you may expect from an elderberry syrup. Delicious in tea, glazes, sauces, or as a syrup on pancakes. Available in 2 sizes: 12.7 ounces or 5 ounces.
